From ROO SKPS, Belarus (s-kps.by)
The secretariat of the ROO SKPS receives numerous inquiries from members and non-members of the ROO SKPS regarding the expedient option of voting in the presidential elections. Workers, members of agricultural cooperatives, teachers, doctors, youth and veterans are asking questions — everyone who cares about their future, the future of their children and grandchildren and their native republic. We answer.
Question. Considering that all the nominated candidates, without exception, in different ways, but do support the continuation of the bourgeois course of development of the republic, and there is no supporter of socialism among the candidates, is it not worth boycotting the elections?
Answer. Calls to boycott the elections are prohibited by law. And this is correct: if you are a citizen of the republic, please, participate in the formation of its governing bodies, and if the Constitution contains an elective position of the President, then please do participate in his elections too.
Question. For the same reason, should we vote against everyone?
Answer. Of course you can. The ballot paper that everyone will receive even has a corresponding line for this option. And it would have been possible to recommend voting against everyone, since there is no person on the list of candidates who would stand for the return of the republic to the tested and reliable socialist path of development, and none of the candidates supported the mandate adopted at the 5th Congress of the ROO SKPS in May-June 2020 years, to take the first steps towards the transition from our current state capitalism to socialism.
But in the current situation, both outside the republic and inside it, voting against everyone is inappropriate and even dangerous. If all voters vote against all candidates, then this will create a crisis of statehood, which is awaited and which is being prepared by foreign oligarchs who shamelessly interfere in our internal affairs (along with our own ones who have already appeared too) in order to take the republic into their hands and turn it into their colony with all the sad consequences for each of us. The working people should not help their main opponents — the oligarchs, all the more, they should not fall into the trap of empty promises those forces are giving. Therefore, we do not recommend voting against everyone.
Question. For whom to vote?
Answer. Firstly. whom not to vote for. We do not recommend voting for A. Dmitriev, A. Kanopatskaya, S. Tikhanovskaya and S. Cherechenya. Each of them in his or her own way, does not represent the interests of employees, but, on the contrary, represents the interests of business circles and demand complete freedom for them, that is, the freedom of our exploitation. In their programs, we will find what we have once rejected, including at our referendums. So we hear the intention to denounce the Treaty on the Establishment of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, to withdraw from our defence union and go to the European Union, where they are “waiting” for us — as an internal colony, to abolish the death penalty for bandits, to start buying and selling land, to transfer the remaining state enterprises to private owners. to return as state symbols the white-red-white flag and Chase — symbols of Hitler’s lackeys, to abandon the statehood of the Russian language, which is, on a par with Belarusian language, the NATIONAL language of the Belarusian people, since almost everyone thinks, speaks, reads and writes in this language, and to weaken its status means to halve the national culture, etc.
Yes, and all these four candidates do not hide that they solve a common task — to remove the current President A.G. Lukashenko from power, that is, a task that completely coincides with the task openly and clearly set by the West, since our President hinders the further advancement of NATO to the East, to the borders of our allied Russia.
It is clear that the implementation of the programs of these four will lead us to the same thing as what the Ukrainian people came to, after having allowed themselves to obey such «nightingales» as our four: to the reanimation of local fascism, to a series of collaborationist rulers ensuring the dominance of the world financial oligarchy, to general impoverishment, to the civil war and the collapse of the Ukrainian state.
Therefore, you need to vote for A.G. Lukashenko, who in his 26 years of presidency, including 24 years of strong power received from the people in a referendum, despite the bourgeois course (the construction of the so-called “socially oriented market, not socialist sovereign state), has achieved the salvation of the national economy and develops it, ensures peace and social stability, putting national extremists on the blades, fights against criminals, defends the sovereignty of the republic against the predatory inclinations of foreign oligarchs, preserves a significant part of the previous social , benefits, the opportunity to receive medical treatment and study for free), achieved food independence, is leading an integration line in the post-Soviet space, etc.
Question. But the people are against Lukashenko?
Answer. Tens of thousands of citizens, whom S. Tikhanovskaya gathers for her election rallies, speaking against the President, is a tiny part of the people — we are 9 and a half million.
Who are these protesters? These are, first of all, entrepreneurs demanding complete freedom of business, that is, the freedom of our exploitation. But many citizens also come to the rallies, unjustly offended by the ruling officials of our capitalist state. In the eyes of such offended citizens, A.G. Lukashenko is guilty, since he is unsatisfactorily fulfilling the role of the guarantor of the Constitution, without protecting people from the arbitrariness of many ruling officials, including judges, and for a long time endures the obscenities of the Constitution itself, such as that “the judicial power belongs to the court «and not to the people.
But by voting for A.G. Lukashenko, we will preserve the above achievements, save the republic and ourselves from the domination of foreign oligarchs and will be able to continue to fight together for the power of the working people, genuine (scientific) socialism, full implementation of the Treaty on the creation of the Union State of Belarus and Russia and the revival of our powerful and caring big Fatherland — the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.
Question. We are frightened that on the day of elections there could be a bloody Maidan with sniper shooting. What to do?
Answer. Foreign oligarchs and their local henchmen deliberately scare us in order to disrupt the elections, to create a political crisis and to take control of our sovereign Belarusian republic, which for the first time in history gained state independence as a result of the Great October Socialist Revolution.
The President clearly stated that we would not have a Maidan, and before our very eyes, potential snipers are being successfully caught by law enforcement agencies in different parts of our republic. But since when did the citizens of our Partisan traditions’ republic become afraid? The working people are not afraid of their enemies. And it is better to prevent the worst by voting than to fight in the trenches later.
Therefore, the ROO SKPS has firm recommendations: in each person’s own interests and in the interests of our sovereign Republic of Belarus, a person needs to vote on August 9, and those who cannot do so on that day, to vote ahead of schedule, from August 4. Please calmly come to the polling station and put a ballot paper containing a check mark or a cross in a box into the ballot box. against the name of A.G. Lukashenko. Thus in order to thwart all the insidious intrigues and intricacies of the anti-Belarusian diaspora and its local «fifth column», to preserve the achieved and the possibility of continuing the struggle for the working people’s interests.
